SYDNEY PHILHARMONIA SYMPHONY CHORUS
The Symphonic Choir is the largest
of our permanent choirs with over 100 voices. Symphonic performs the large
choral orchestral repertoire with great precision and recent performances
have included Tippett's A Child of our Time , Bach’s St
John Passion and Orff’s Carmina Burana
as well as the world premiere performance of Sir John Tavener’s
Lament for Jerusalem.
During auditions, overall vocal quality, competent sight reading
skills and an ability to blend are prized attributes. See the
