ChorusOz®
A Philharmonia experience for all singers
A unique program where people across the country come together to sing great works for choir and orchestra in the Sydney Opera House. Every year ChorusOz offers over 800 people the chance to share their love of choral music and be inspired by working with great musical directors and sharing a platform with accomplished soloists.
Participants are not auditioned, but supported with learning resources and training to be able to experience singing great works of classical music and popular contemporary programs in a massed choir.
ChorusOz makes it possible for people from regional Australia or other places where opportunities to experience choral music are limited to participate in high level professional standard concerts.
What we want to achieve:
• Continue the ChorusOz program at the Sydney Opera House.
• Maintain fees at current levels without increase.
• Provide scholarship places through regional music conservatoriums and regional choirs.
