Registrations for Singing at the House - Gospel on 12 March are now open! Click here to sign up.
Singing at the House is a free community singing event held at Sydney Opera House. Participants do not need any previous singing experience, just enthusiasm and energy! See below for our dates for 2017.
Doors open at 9.45am in order for the singing to start at 10am. You will be on your feet for most of the session, and we suggest that you bring your own bottled water (plastic bottles, no glass). Coffee and tea in cups with lids are also permitted. There is no catering in the venue.
Although you will be inside, some spaces in the Sydney Opera House let in a lot of sunlight, particularly on hot days. There are no dress requirements – we suggest you wear something comfortable and casual clothes are fine. Due to space restrictions, only those registered to sing will be able to enter the venue, unfortunately we cannot accommodate spectators.
We will open registrations two weeks prior to each event via our Facebook page, so please LIKE our Facebook page and stay connected: www.facebook.com/sydneyphilharmonia. For those not on Facebook please check this page two weeks prior to each event.
