MESSIAH REGISTRATIONS ARE CLOSED

Sydney Philharmonia Choirs regularly present special massed choir programs, associated with festivals or special events. At Christmas the Messiah Choir has been a long-standing tradition and our massed choir will be performing Messiah at the Sydney Opera House in December 2011.

In 2012 Handel's Messiah makes way for Britten's St Nicolas presented by the combined Sydney Philharmonia Choirs. The next Massed Choir project will be announced in 2012 - please refer back to this website for details.

"This was the first time I sang with this wonderful choir and I enjoyed every bit of it. On Saturday, when we had a standing ovation I mentioned to my neighbours and my daughter, that I wished we had sung the Hallelujah Chorus as an encore, and my neighbours who had sung many times before said that would never happen. And lo - the miracle of the encore!!! What a wonderful way to go out."
