VOX
An exciting chamber vocal ensemble for 18–25-year-olds, Vox performs a wide repertoire in a variety of performance spaces. Since its inception in 2002, the group has delivered concerts at City Recital Hall Angel Place, St Andrew’s Cathedral, Circular Quay's Justice & Police Museum, and the Art Gallery of NSW. The ensemble featured on the premiere recording of music by Sir John Tavener and took part in
World Youth Day celebrations, performing Missa Solemnis with the Sydney Symphony, a concert of sacred French music for choir and organ directed by David Russell. This performance was broadcast on ABC Classic FM as part of their Young Australia program. Vox also gave a series of concerts entitled Vox Britannica, featuring British vocal music from the fifteenth through to the twenty-first century under conductor Brett Weymark.
