We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our dedicated management team and keep this expanding Arts organisation on track.
Sydney Philharmonia Choirs offices are based at Walsh Bay. For more than 100 years, we have been a central feature of Sydney’s cultural landscape, performing concerts, advocating for choral singing, and commissioning composers. As well as presenting a full season of concerts, SPC is a Resident Company at the Sydney Opera House, and long-term chorus for the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
In this part-time role, we are looking for someone who is a Certified Practising Accountant with an understanding of the relevant statutory obligations, highly competent in spreadsheets and accounting software (Xero), is accurate, ethical, and can work effectively in a small team. It would be desirable if you have some previous experience working for an Arts organisation or for not-for-profit organisation.

We’re looking for someone with a high attention to detail, strong interpersonal and communication skills, who is looking to join our small, friendly, inclusive and busy team. There’s the potential for training, respected industry experience, advancement and opportunity in Development and/or Marketing. The role’s responsibilities have been divided into Development and Marketing categories but will reflect the overlapping nature of these two areas.
