In 2014 we present six unique choral experiences, starting with a wonderful insight into the sounds of the early 16th century with excerpts from The Eton Choirbook in our Divine Voices program. ChorusOz will present Rutter's Gloria and the Duruflé Requiem as we open our doors to the greater community - and we would love to see you join us on stage for this popular event.
For me a season is not complete without Bach, and in the middle of the year we will perform his sublime motets. And for those who love contemporary works, the chilling Cantos Sagrados, by James MacMillan, with acclaimed Australian organist David Drury is worthy of attention. We will also present a new Australian work by Matthew Hindson, crowd sourced by our own Festival Chorus.
To end the year, join us for the fun filled family festival Carols at the House, where we will be joined by actor John Bell, soprano Emma Matthews and thespian Stuart Maunder. This year's program spans an extraordinary 500 years of choral music, and we look forward to seeing you there.
