What Would the World Be Like Without Choral Music?
Imagine watching your favourite film – Gladiator, Harry Potter, or It’s a Wonderful Life – without the sweeping power of choral music. It’s possible… but it wouldn’t be the same, it wouldn’t have the impact or the feeling.
Choral music is all around us, often without us even realising it. From the climactic moments of epic cinema to the most emotional milestones in our lives – weddings, memorials, national celebrations – group singing is what we reach for. It binds us together. It lifts us up.
So what if it wasn’t there? What if it went missing?
By asking “What’s Missing?”, we want to show the true impact of choral music – by imagining a world without it. This campaign is about more than just music. It’s about raising awareness of the vital role group singing plays in education, entertainment, community, and in our mental and physical wellbeing.
