Elizabeth (Libby) Stuart is a Non-Executive Director with 20 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector. She is currently Chair of The Housing Connection Limited, a disability services provider.  She was previously Chair of Frensham Schools and on the board of Piano Plus Australia, which delivers the Sydney International Piano Competition.   

Libby has a Bachelor of Arts (major in French) from the University of Sydney, a Bachelor of Laws from the Australian National University and is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Prior to becoming a Non-Executive Director, Libby practised as a lawyer, specialising in intellectual property law and general commercial law.  She worked in private practice at Allens in Sydney and Herbert Smith Freehills in London and Singapore, prior to moving in-house where she was Assistant General Counsel at Fox Sports in Singapore and Hong Kong and at George Weston Foods in Sydney.

With a lifelong interest in classical music and singing, Libby currently sings with the Sydney Philharmonia Christmas Choir and the Willoughby Symphony Choir.  She is also a keen amateur pianist and has an AMusA on the piano.
