Development Director
We are delighted to be advertising for the brand new senior role of Development Director at Sydney Philharmonia Choirs. We have pinpointed development as one of the major potential areas of growth in our company, and we are looking for the person who will enjoy maximising that opportunity, and working within our small team.
The Development Director will lead all aspects of fundraising and stakeholder engagement, driving growth in philanthropic giving, corporate partnerships, and government support. This is a pivotal leadership role that will shape SPC’s long-term financial sustainability and deepen our relationships with donors, sponsors, and the broader community.
You will work closely with the Executive Director, our Board, and Music and Artistic Director, and also the office team to design and implement a comprehensive development strategy that aligns with SPC’s artistic ambitions and values.
SPC is a small and dedicated team and would appreciate the addition of an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and self-motivated Development Director, who would become a critical part in delivering the company’s ambitious aims.

Artistic Operations Supervisor (x2)
We are looking for two Artistic Operations Supervisors to support the smooth delivery of all artistic activity through hands-on project, rehearsal, and chorister management. You will assist the Artistic Operations Manager to plan and run rehearsals and performances, booking venues, artists, equipment, and production personnel, and liaising with partners and venues.
Sydney Philharmonia Choirs (SPC) is one of Australia’s leading choral organisations, renowned for artistic excellence, ambitious collaborations, and a century-long legacy of inspiring performances. With ensembles ranging from the acclaimed Symphony Chorus (official chorus of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra since 1941) to the 400-strong Festival Chorus and VOX young adult choir, SPC engages thousands of singers and audiences every year through major performances at the Sydney Opera House and beyond.
The Operations Team at SPC is at the absolute core of what the company does, and how it maintains its high standards and ambitious programming.
Position Overview

Responsible for: Casual Choir Rehearsal Covers and Volunteers
Employment Type: Permanent full-time (38 hrs per week)
Remuneration: $62,832 pa plus 12% superannuation
Starting: January 2026
